A society evolves one person at a time

Tej Gyan Foundation was established in 1999 with a specific aim: a highly evolved society, arrived at through the all-round development of individual people rather than around them. The motto is Happy Thoughts, chosen because thoughts of self-realization are the ones that displace all the others.
The Foundation is among the very few spiritual organisations, and was the first, to hold ISO certification for its System for Wisdom. That matters less as a badge than as evidence of the intent: this is a curriculum with a structure, not a collection of talks.
Programmes run for school students, youth, women, senior citizens, teachers, doctors, leaders, organisations, the police force and prisoners. Alongside them the Foundation has published more than 300 books drawn from Sirshree’s teachings, spanning self-help through to self-realization, and works with coaches who bring corporate and international experience.
The approach is deliberately non-denominational. Nothing in it requires a person to leave their religion, or to have one.

Work beyond the retreats

Sirshree's teachings have prompted initiatives aimed at raising collective consciousness. Public figures have taken part in several of them.
